Quail added to farm for Valentine’s Day..a man that knows my heart well. 🥰

Oh my gosh, you guys I am so excited. I got quail for Valentine's Day! This hubby of mine sure knows the way to my heart! ❤️

After about six months of research and going back-and-forth, thinking no I'm not gonna raise quail and then thinking yes, I am going to raise quail. I have officially decided to be a quail, MOM and yes that does mean us raising quail for meat and for eggs. I won't be having a part of the process or will I? Only time will tell on that we will have to just see. I would love to be able to be more sustainable on living off our farmland. Quail like to be in a more confined area and the less quail, the more territorial they are and the more unhappy. The more quail, the more at peace and the more relaxed and happy they are if that makes sense! Well, of course you want to do a few things to make them more comfortable and happy so that you get as many eggs as possible. I will be updating you on Quail talk for now on because we're getting them at adult size, getting them at teen size we're getting them at a few days old and we're getting our own hatching eggs so we're gonna be able to walk you through it. step-by-step of how we started our mistakes what we learn from it, and what we can do better And you get to follow along!
